Fondant doll ...in the making

This is a fondant cake topper I am making for a princess cake. Instead of the bow she is going to have a tiara along with different colored flowers on her dress. I might even add more ruffles to her dress, endless possibilities!!! :D I'm making this ahead of this though just in case..... :D

These cupcakes are = butter-chocolate with strawberry buttercream frosting...everything butter! lol - but still good. They were made especially for a Breast Cancer Awareness Presentation, along with chocolate chip cookies.

There had to be a pink ribbon somewhere since I had already frosted them pink and It wouldnt look right to put the pink ribbon on top of the cupcake. These kinds of things need to stand out. :) The ribbon is made of fondant. At the last minute I wished I had chosen regular cream-colored-buttercream with a pink ribbon on each. : / But that's ok....next time.

This is my first fondant covered cake ...and I must say I think I did pretty darn good!!! ;) It took about 3 tries just to get that little cake covered, but I did it. It's a chocolate cake with sweetened strawberry filling topped with almond buttercream frosting.

Josh's Birthday Cake

This cake was specially made and ordered. The birthday-boy himself picked out the flavors. It is a french vanilla cake with vanilla pudding filling, topped with almond buttercream frosting. It was scrumptious!! :D

Strawberry Cake / Chocolate Cake

The first cake is strawberry cake with a sweetened strawberry puree and pudding/cool whip frosting. This recipe was given to me by my best friend's g-ma :) This is an awesome cake!!!-especially eaten cold. The second cake is a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate pudding filling and a new icing recipe im trying out for almond buttercream. :D yum!!

I was so upset when I got to work ... for some strange reason a football managed to land on top of the chocolate cake, while in the back of my car. : /
